'Superkrachten' valt in de prijzen!

Het is feest! Onze film Superkrachten voor je Hoofd is in Duitsland in de prijzen gevallen.

Superkrachten voor je Hoofd is bekroond op het 32e Internationale Kinderfilmfestival in Schwäbisch Gmünd in Duitsland – en hoe! De film mocht maar liefst drie prijzen in ontvangst nemen: de Eerste Prijs van de Kinderjury, de Vakjuryprijs voor Beste Film én de prijs voor Beste Kinderacteur, die naar onze hoofdrolspeler Finn Vogels ging.

De jury was laaiend enthousiast over de film. Eén van de juryleden zei: "We verwachtten een superheldenfilm, maar deze film heeft ons echt verrast en diep geraakt. Het gaf ons stof tot nadenken."

Eerder werd Superkrachten voor je Hoofd al bekroond met de Publieksprijs bij Cinekid en ontving het de titel Best Special International Children’s Film op het Duitse SCHLiNGEL International Film Festival.

Op 11 september gaat de film in première in de Duitse bioscopen. In Nederland is Superkrachten voor je Hoofd te bekijken via Prime Video.

Acting Award – KiKiFe 2025
As the children’s jury, it was very difficult for us to make a decision, and we spent a long time thinking about who the best actor or actress was.
In the end, we chose someone who took us on a funny, chaotic, yet also emotional journey.
This person convincingly conveyed a wide range of emotions. That’s why we are awarding the Acting Prize to the lead actor of the film Superpowers for Your Mind – Finn Vogels, who plays Lev.

The Children’s Jury Award for Best Film at KiKiFe 2025 goes to the Dutch film SUPERPOWERS FOR YOUR MIND!
With its unique blend of tones, the film masterfully shifts between extremely funny and deeply moving moments – and touches our hearts again and again.
It delivers its inspiring message in a highly entertaining way that made watching it simply a joy. Not only the main character – who overcomes both inner and outer obstacles and faces her fears –  but also all the supporting characters truly impressed us. By the time Superpowers for Your Mind comes to an end, you just want to watch it all over again.

Jury Statement – Professional Jury – 32nd KiKiFe (2025)
We were promised a superhero film – and what we got was a film that not only surprised us but also moved us deeply and gave us much to think about. What impressed us most was that all the characters – including the adults – go through a transformation. The film draws our attention to the fact that we often find superpowers where we least expect them.
